Assumed high-end segment
HTC doesn't want people to confuse the VIVE Focus 3 with entry-level consumer devices like the Meta Quest 2, or the Pico 4. While they share some similar aesthetic philosophies, the two headsets are very different.
The VIVE Focus 3 lives in commercial spaces and is designed to change the world of interactive spaces. Take the example of immersive expeditions (Eternal Notre-Dame) that use the device to compete in huge (500m²) free-roaming play areas. Thanks to the headset's advanced technologies, it is now possible to do away with the (expensive and capricious) VR Backpack and broadcast content via a powerful Wi-Fi 6 network and its LBE mode.
Similarly, when it comes to accessories, HTC has thought of everything for very quick headset rotations. When a battery runs out, a staff member can quickly remove it and replace it with a new unit with 100% charge.
The ambitions of the VIVE Focus 3 and its array of complementary accessories are almost entirely professional.
